## Starting point

For the small family business, a custom website was to present the wine tavern and the winery together. The visual concept came from Engarde; JK Concepts was responsible for the complete technical development.

The design had to be translated into a responsive, easy-to-maintain WordPress solution that can also be operated technically in the long term.

## Requirements & challenges

- Transfer a custom design precisely into a working website
- Bring two areas of the business together in one clear site
- Create a maintainable WordPress structure for a small business
- Take performance, SEO and security into account in ongoing support

## Implementation

1. Plan the design technically The design was translated into components, responsive states and editable content areas.
2. Build in WordPress Frontend and content structure were developed as a custom WordPress website.
3. Integrate content Wine tavern and winery were brought together in one shared user journey.
4. Check quality Display and usability were checked on different screen sizes.
5. Support the website Technical maintenance, security and performance and SEO optimisation continue.

## Technical decision

### Design partnership with clearly divided roles

Engarde was responsible for the design, JK Concepts for the technical implementation. This split made responsibilities clear and made it possible to realise the custom design as a maintainable WordPress website.

For day-to-day operation, what counts is not only visual accuracy, but also a technical structure that allows updates and later adjustments.
