### Business Care

## Maintenance starts with a controlled onboarding

Before ongoing care begins, access, components, backups, monitoring and important functions are recorded. Existing malware, broken updates or larger technical legacy issues are not included in the onboarding as standard.

The right maintenance frequency depends on how important the website is for enquiries, bookings or sales. A shop needs different checks and backup intervals than a simple information website.

## What is clarified during onboarding

Ongoing care only begins once access, backups and the technical starting point are traceable.

### Access and ownership

Domain, hosting, WordPress and third-party accounts remain under your company’s control.

### Technical inventory

WordPress, theme, plugins, PHP, hosting and special integrations are recorded.

### Backups and recovery

External backups, retention and a practical way to restore are set up.

### Important functions

Depending on the plan, relevant pages, forms, booking paths or shop functions are agreed.

## How we work together

Clear intermediate steps make technical decisions, risks and costs easy to follow.

1. Take stock Record access, hosting, WordPress, plugins, theme and important functions.
2. Secure the foundation Set up monitoring, external backups and a restore test.
3. Set the rhythm Plan maintenance and check intervals to suit the plan.
4. Maintain under control Carry out updates and check agreed functions according to the plan.
5. Report & respond Document results and agree additional work in advance.

## Frequently asked questions

Answers to practical questions before you commission the work.

### Why is there a charge for onboarding?

A website built by someone else first has to be understood technically and brought into monitoring, backups and the maintenance routine. This effort arises once and is kept transparently separate from the monthly operation.

### Are urgent security updates included in Basic Care?

No. Basic Care covers scheduled quarterly maintenance. Urgent security updates outside that date are offered separately and billed by effort. From Website Care upwards, security updates are handled according to urgency.

### What does a restore test mean?

It is not just checked whether backup files exist. The agreed way of restoring the site is tested for the first time during onboarding and regularly after that.

### Are repairs included in the monthly price?

Errors caused by an update carried out as part of maintenance are investigated according to the plan. Existing errors, damage caused by third parties and larger repairs are quoted separately.

### Can an existing website be taken over?

Yes. Its technical condition, access and suitability for the chosen plan are checked first. Larger legacy issues may need to be cleaned up before ongoing care starts.
