WooCommerce · Takeover & maintenance
The existing online shop of Pölzer Spezialitäten was taken over for ongoing technical care, stabilised and gradually adapted to current requirements.
The WooCommerce shop was already live and was not to be reinvented, but taken over reliably from a technical point of view. In day-to-day operation there were errors, a need for modernisation and new technical requirements.
In addition, data protection and Austrian e-commerce requirements had to be taken into account technically on the website.
The existing installation, its components and the most important shop processes were taken into care.
Problems were ranked by their impact on sales, maintenance and operation and fixed step by step.
WordPress, WooCommerce and other components were updated and adapted in a controlled way.
Necessary technical adjustments for data protection and Austrian e-commerce were integrated.
Updates, security, performance, SEO and new error patterns are handled continuously.
A production shop contains grown processes, content and dependencies. Instead of hastily replacing parts that work, the existing system was taken over, stabilised and modernised where there was a concrete technical need.
That way, acute errors, necessary updates and new requirements can be handled in order of priority while the shop continues to be used.
Maintenance, troubleshooting and further development are handled as part of continuous care.
Existing technology was updated in a controlled way instead of needlessly rebuilding the production shop from scratch.
Technical adjustments for data protection, e-commerce, security and operation were integrated.
Related services work together, but each one can be commissioned on its own.
I first check the condition, dependencies and risks, then propose a controlled takeover or a targeted modernisation.
